US President, Donald Trump has blasted the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying she couldn’t pass a basic aptitude test as he questioned her mental fitness for office.
Trump’s comments in an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo came after Pelosi last week formed a committee that would allow the 25th Amendment to be invoked if a president was deemed mentally unfit.
Pelosi previously questioned Trump’s mental state suggesting the drugs he took to cure himself of Coronavirus could have an impact on his mental state.
“Medical professionals say this could have an impact on judgment.” She told Bloomberg TV .
Trump “is, shall we say, in an altered state right now.”
Trump responding to her claims, told Fox news: ‘I don’t think she could pass basic aptitude tests, personally’
He added: “I really don’t. I don’t believe it.”
Trump then claimed if Biden wins the 2020 election, Democrats want to invoke the 25th Amendment to put Kamala Harris in power.
He alleged Democrats would plan to use the Amendment to pull Biden out of power, and put his running mate Harris, in as acting president.
Fox host, Batrimono questioned Trump, telling him that “sources” told her Biden had two brain aneurysms – despite Biden undergoing surgery in 1988 to fix them and him speaking publicly about recovering.
“I think she’s talking about Joe Biden. Because to be honest, he’s the one that’s got the problem and obviously it’s obvious to anyone that watches him speak,” Trump told Fox of Pelosi’s amendment move.
“He’s the one that has the problem and they want to put a super radical left person in like Kamala who’s further left than Bernie Sanders,” Trump claimed.
“A lot of people think she’s talking about Joe Biden, getting him out. and frankly that’s the way I view it,” Trump claimed.
Trump then claimed he is now “immune to coronavirus.”
He said ”it looks like I’m immune for maybe a long time, maybe a short time, maybe a lifetime,” after his doctor the night before released a statement saying he is no longer able to transmit the virus to others.
